Seniour moment or two

The Eurovision Song Contest rears its head again, so now we are subjected to what is a total waste of time and money - would not be so bad if there were half decent singers or a song worth listening to - BUT having said that I am watching some tidy members of UNI 5 !!!

HOWEVER - having fallen asleep in front of the TY at 1.30 a.m.,this morning I was not quite flavour of the month as dawn broke.

Usual ritual pre holiday clean up - house has to be spick and span before we leave - even for a weekend - that way we can find out if RGB has a party while we are away. He did once, and we only realised it when he put the pictures back in the wrong place !! apart from the complaint by the neighbours about the live band practising in the garage.

Anyway, when I did get sorted I headed down to Roslin to return Andrew Stewart's wee book on harbours to him. popped in for a blether and was enthralled with his current set of photo's of churches and some well known local houses. Beeslack House, now a nursing home, but restored to its former glory, beautiful.

Young singer Josh, did very well.

Back to Andrew, now a very youthful 74, his next project is unique, he is going to research and write up the history of the Doocots and ice houses in Midlothian, good one,

Had to leave, eventually, detour due to shocking road works at Bilston, down to Costco where I appear to have boobed again, bought Mrs B some Olay anti wrinkle cream - did not go down well.
Had an emergency call from Claire at The Mercat so it was off, back to Bookers for more supplies to keep our visitors well fed and looked after over the weekend.

RGB and Joe Myers somewhere en route to the house - Briggsy out the box and away to bed at hs folks.

Had some controversial comments for the blog , but having a senior moment so cannot remember what they were - should start writing down notes again.
