Old friends, what a nice surprise.

Now resting in the lounge at Glasgow Airport, quite comfortable, table service to make sure folks do not go OTT.
Steady run through on the Motorway but as I did not have the map for the car park I was ever so slightly lost for a short time.
Anyway, arrived at the airport and was met with a massive queue, nearly died off, however it was not hours so we only took five or so minutes to get checked in.
On the way through the halls we were following a couple with three children and then realised that they were friends who we have not seen for three or four years, Joan and Denny from Cambuslang. We were on a two week cruise with them several years ago around the Med and Portugal. They were off with the grandchildren to give their mother peace as she has just had a new baby - lovely to see them again. Denny and Joan used to organise the most wonderful x-mas New year parties, all themed, etc for when he was home on leave, held in the Miners welfare Club at Halfway, and with about 100 attending - great fun.
The sunrise was taken a few mornings ago from the A702 at Lowries Den looking south over the hills which were still totally snow covered.
It had looked even nicer a few moments earlier but by the time I stopped and got the camera out, shame.
Will just have to wait and see how I get on in the sunnier climes of Egypt.
