At least it did not rain!!!

Wednesday 5 a.m. wide awake, insomnia plus leg cramps so there was no point in lying there.
Downstairs and sat and read for a while but when Graham failed to appear at 6 a.m. I decided to head into The MercatBar to open up for the staff.
Sarah , the Canadian girl was on early and I learned that she , like others has managed to lose her purse and credit cards recently - seems a common occurrence amongst the young and carefree.
Anyway Graham eventually appeared so I baled out and headed home via the Bush to get some benefit from the fresh air, even although it was not really sunny it was pleasant. The grass was cut with the newish lawnmower which has so far done more cutting that the previous one which went on fire - and then trimmed back a lot of the dead wood from the cherry trees.
Had a bit of a clamber about the back roof trying to find out where the water comes from which drips through one of the light fittings in the conservatory during heavy rains - ended up taking away the gutter to see if it would cure it .
Used long ladders to clean the windows but I have to admit that I am not a fan of ladders at all - unless they are firmly attached - I have no problems with going over the edge of buildings on ropes, but up the way is different.
Felt rather queasy so I pulled out the lounger, got a book to read, wrapped up and eventually dozed off for a while before having to go look for something to eat at tea time.
