An interesting evening

Made it to The Mercat to pick up Graham and Andy KP, and while waiting had a portion of scrambled egg ( of all things) made by the lovely Claire, assited by Duhai ( took it out the microwave), before heading down to Hollyrood to St Johns Road where No 97 were meeting.

The "Temple" is amazing, beautifully decorated, owned by No 2, and it is one of the Lodges which Robert Burns, the poet, joined while living in Edinburgh. The organ is the original and the wall mural is lovely ( photos another time when lap top is back).
The Lodge was working a Mark Degree with four candidates which was good and this was followed by a traditional meal , good old fashioned mince and tatties !! - washed down with Iron Bru of all things as I was driving.

Dropped Andy off and came home via The Bush where I checked out one of my jobs, and made it home just before Graham who was using his motor bike.

Up this morning to discover that Mrs B. has removed even more wall paper !! so I am warning the neighbours not to leave their doors open - just in case !!

Looks like it is another run to Costco and cash and carry to stock up so that the good citizens of Edinburgh and visitors can be fed at The Mercat. After that , we wait and see.
