To the Hillfoots and back again

PM - now wet and misty, but we did head off to Tillicoultry up in the Hillfoots of Clackmannan where the weather was nice, currently we have hail stones.

Up early and it was my turn to be "stripping" in the livingroom, what a treat for Graham when he came down and found both Ma and Pa stripping off ( the wallpaper) - no doubt a sight for tired eyes.

Spoke to the HBOS Manager at Penicuik, " knock , knock , anyone in" was about the response I received, what a waste of time. However the Evening News did speak to me about the DVLA thing and are going to investigate.

E Mail from Rob and Caitlin, she is working hard, and Rob has got a job with a company who build supermarkets all over Oz, so he could end up being a travelling man, well done.

I see Andrea has been peeking at the Blog - nice to know she is taking an interest.

Up at Hillfoots went to visit the Sterling Furniture warehouse to look for new suits and chairs, what a wonderful place - you could spend all day there. En route i was surprised how much work has been done on the new bridge over the River Forth at Kincardine, none of your shortest way over the water, this is spectacular, and misses out the whole of Kincardine Village and comes out way north, massive short cut which will make a great difference. It was not possible to stop due to the traffic to try and get a photo.

In a rush now as I am off to meet Graham and Andy KP to go to the meeting at No 97 tonight - if I am lucky I may get a wee bite to eat at The Mercat.
