Masonic treat

Mark and I made it to Rosslyn St Clair 606 to find that it was to be a 1st Degree worked by reigning masters with a few guests !!. Turned out the the Depute Grand Master Charles Ian Woolridge Gordon (yes same person who I went to India with as he also hold the rank of 1st principle of the Supreme Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Scotland), accompanied by Maurice Wilson, Grand Librarian ( was at the 151 dance with us couple of weeks ago and at No. 97 last week), the Grand Superintendent of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Midlothian with his entourage - and all the reigning Masters of the Province of Midlothian.

It was an excellent degree and obviously something very special for the candidate.

I was able to have a blether to "The Boss" after the meeting , he has still not given up on his quick ciggy whenever he can - he was doing well and liked the suggestion that he had a part time job for a bit of beer money .
