Merry x mas to all my readers,

Seasons greetings to one and all.

How many folks were up in the wee small hours looking for Santa ? Well, I was, up as usual at 5.30 a.m. , milk , carrots - laid out for the bearded man and his animals - but having fitted all these new locks and alarms to comply with the insurance company , I was worried that the magic key would not work . BUT it did and Santa has been here, left me a long cardboard tube from the inside of the wrapping paper - so we are having a team game - Me and Mrs,. B. as to how many things you can make or use it for . All very reminiscent of the good old days when you got an orange , bar of chocolate, a wee toy , and went and played with cardboard boxes - now it seems to be X boxes they play with , not quite the same.

Mrs. B. disturbed by my coughing has been down since 6 a.m. so we are worse than the bairns. Watched the Lion Man , in New Zealand - excellent, and Sir Richard Attenborough on mammals - he is amazing , just how much more we know about nature these days thanks to the likes of him and his colleagues.

Texts in from Archie and Tracy, Archie was so excited with Christmas, Tracy had to bop him one to calm him down , Camryn and Austin sound asleep and Dad trying to get them up so he can get his present. He even ate the last chocolate in the advent calender -.

Sir Christopher and Ailsa @ Miss Talk a Lot, off on their travels and will be out to see us later, looks as though he has already emptied his sack this morning .

Sandra, William and Stuart heading over to see Donna, Paul, Jordan , Hannah , Rebecca, and James where there will no doubt be the same mayhem as is occurring in millions of houses throughout the world - so while I am typing Santa will be working his way westwards around the world, doing his annual thingy , then its back to the workshop and start making toys for next year.

I wonder what Sparky found in the pair of stockings he left on his bedpost , he is duty "Captain Calamity" today for the gas board, so lets hope all is well and no poor unsuspecting soul has to call him out , it will be a drookit X-mas tree or a cold Turkey. We will get the continuing adventures from him when he comes for left overs later on.

No sign of our babies !!!! yet , and I am starving, in need of my breakfast, (and on a more serious note , there will be many who are - the less fortunate, so spare a thought).

Merry Christmas Stuart/Ann. Hope you had a nice one. Still going on here as you can imagine. Don't know who is causing most mayhem. Big kids or wee ones!!!!!! Keep hinting that the kids are tired and really should be in bed. Unfortunately, they will probably end up in bed here and various Mums and Dads' will be out partying till the wee small hours!!!!
