So much for a quiet day

Dinner over, resting with a glass of wine, content and havce had a laught. The only unfortunate is that Jo Jo @ HM has taken this 24 hr bug and has had to go to bed, sort of poorly.

Got some nice presents including a certificate from "Rainforest Concern"meaning that I have adopted a half acre of forest in the Choco-Andean Rainforest Corridor Project, Ecudor and Columbia. A course in wine tasting, digital picture frame, etc. very very good.

Had then had a quiet day watching TV with a few glasses of !!!!!!!!, phone calls and texts. Jeremy Wattles called from the USA and we look forward to seeing him at the end of January.

Sparky arrived , he had six calls for assistance today, all who were delighted to see him - joined by Doreen, and with Graham we enjoyed an excellent dinner, tasty, followed by a selection of cheeses.

Sparky needed a bit help with his bow tie and then we had the problem of the 35 toes, unlike John Buchan and his "39 Steps".

So now - in need of a rest, after all, I am working tomorrow.
