Saw Grant @ photogenix today - very busy, and having fun and games with the "twa dugs", his fish tank, and lots of work - I am sure Yvonne will accept her pink champers tomorrow with good grace and say that \Grant was correct when he said that hairdressers mistakes grew back in two weeks !!!
Had a bad morning , UNISON called, total cock up - and laywers, going off on holiday do not give a toss !! So I hope that the Directors and Management of the Social Work Department of Edinburgh City Council, have a nice x-mas - NOT.
Headed to town, me to The Mercat with presents, and Mrs. B. to my favourite shop, Matalan, where their pre x-mas preview was taking place for the sales.
Home, and manged an hour in the garden to tidy up a bit, but now to the TV, trying to cure this cold, have seen two versions of the Christmas Carol, a brilliant short Shrek cartoon , and now being inflicted with Eastenders.
Thought I might get an early turky dinner, however managed a nice Chinese which Graham and Jo Jo @ HM managed to get back in time for.
Just thinking back to years past when we loved to go down to the watchnight service, then home , wee drink, and maybe open a single present before bed. - Nowadays, the services are not safe as all the drunks try to get in for their annual prayer and to cause chaos.
Just thinking , with the time difference, it will already be Christmas day in Oz , so all the best to Rob and Caitlin.
Time to go look out a pair of stocking for the bottom of the bed !!
