Wells fargo !!

Headed into town on the McEwans 100 coach at lunch time, which bumped, lurched , stopped and started all the way in through quite heavy traffic eventally taking about 10 minutes longer to get in. Up to The Standing Order where the bold Archie served up a nice Nottage Hill red along with a light snack. I met several other Companions there who were also going to George Street for the meeting, which although very good was not as well attended as usual. had a few words afterwords with "The Boss" , blaming him on his smoking for giving me a bad chest and also Ian Fraser the Depute No. 1 He is just back from Jamaica on a formal visit where his group were on hand when a police offficer was shot by local crooks. Policeman recovered and the crooks abandoned their car later.
Waiting on the bus home in Princess Street so took these couple of photos of Edinburgh Castle and the listed houses at the bottom of the Castle Esplanade.
Bus home (McEwans) was jam packed and not helped by at least three passengers who had so many bags , and a guitar that they hogged two seats each causing other to stand.
With the sun up, and having had a long day it was nice to have a wee snooze in the garden after dinner - so now we have an enthralling game between Turky and Croatia.
