Once again up early and out into the bright sun at 7.15 a.m., having impersonated a German and bagged a sunbed - but to be truthfull we were on it from 7.30 a.m. , all day except for a briedf sojourn to the beaCH.
Had a good swim before the place was busy, then met the lady, Vanessa, who was going to do the yoga, so off I went and joined in. , however it took two of them to get me up off the ground after all the stretching and relaxing !! Managed quite a few of the moves , but a couple had me beat, plus my stomach got in the way a bit - however i will persevere and trya gain next session on wednesday. I was still being unravelled when the aquarobics satrted so I missed that class.
Place is always busy, staff are good and the guests do not take much persuasion to join in - which is good.
Lunch was good again, butr we had a late booking for the steak hose, where service was much slower than The Mercat bar, we had a Chataubriand steak, but as Mrs. B. was dead on her feet and needing a sleep we called halt and missed the sweets. they wer charging some astronimical prices for bottles of imported wines, in the local currency so without a convertor I was not buying anything whichI could not work out the price of.
The beach was very busy due to the sun being high inthe sky, and very hot - with a nice breeze off the sea. The paragliding was on, banana boats, etc, but they seem to be a bit pricy if you buy the trips from the Hotel.
Watched a couple of Thomas Cook flights coming in to land, they certainly cut corners to save time, doing some very steep baning turns to make it onto the flight path - we had the same when we came in and a hard , fast landing, all to do with bonuses for saving time and fuel.
Young receptionist was calling me Grandad, or Papa , and looking for a husband !!! But she was called away and has not been seen since - she wanted to be called princewss, but with Kerrin @ Little Princess already , she will called Allenny but will need to be my Blue Bay Princess.
One of the couples we met Nicole and mike Wicks headed off home to north New York state today leacving the 90,s to go to 32´degrees F. which has apparantly killed off his tomatoes. the change will be ashock to their system also.
