Zooming around

How unusual, wide awake at 3.40 a.m., bad leg cramps so i was up for a while and then off to bed again around 4.30 - Then up and for the off.
Down to the Bush to look at a job there , then into my favouite shop, Matalan - for a couple of last minute purchases, next stop The Mercat bar, to hand in goods from Costco, and then out to Bonnyrigg. Called into the Lodge to drop of a briefcase and then into Photogenix to see Grant and pinch a bag of his sweeties.
I had two boxes of paper for the recycling which the bin men had not lifted on Wednesday - and having checked with the Council they told me that the bin men were working to rule in Midlothian and would eventually catch up in a couple of weeks - this was following their strike.
The lad in the Council yard, knew what had happened and his description of his colleagues was apt "lazy buggers" so it seems to be catching - perhaps they have seen the Carillion men at work in the town.
The photo is of Craiglochart church which has always appealed to me when passing , so today I managed this shot in nice bright sunshine.
Graham and Jo had a good night at the SLTA ball in Glasgow, getting home at 2 a.m. - pub is busy and tonight David the Chef has his engagement party downstairs - we will miss it , but wish them all the best.
Jamie and Claire were delighted with the lemon drizzle cake which ann sent in for them.
So, the cases are packed, we are about to head off to the Masonic Club for the charity night doo when the Edinburgh priovince hands over their cheques to local good causes. then , it is "one more sleep" , and up and off to the airport, after that it depends on the availability of a computer - but I will do my best.
