Remember, the clocks go back

It is only because I am going to have the extra hour in bed that I am still up and writing , as we are just home after an evening at The Mercat Bar where they had Comedy dinner night.

I was in there at 7 a.m. this morning , worked away till 3 p.m. with the place very busy all morning and right through the rest of the day . Jamie, Chris, ( seen here concentrating hard - or nearly asleep over the counter) David, and Claire ( in that order because that is the order they arrived at work) were very busy all day preparing and then producing the final meal for tonights doo.

This evening we had a lovely dinner, excellent menu, well prepared, presented, tasted fantastic, and served up by a good team . I had brocolli and brie soup, poached salmon and a chocloate cheesecake - for those who wished this was accompanied by a choice of wine, and followed with tea / coffee, and mints. I think everyone who was involved (including all the bar staff) really deserves some praise, it was great.

The event was a Comedy Club Supper / Dinner organised by Keara Murphy who runs the Monday night comedy club evenings in the pub. Tonight she had three guest comediens, Keir McAllister, Jeff O'Boyle and Andy Sir, who all did their bit up front , each with a different style.
We had a really good turn out with all the tables taken , and folks present from Ireland, Australia, England, and as far north as Inverness and Elgin in Scotland. I have photos but they will be added later.
Anyway - I need a kip and Mrs. B. has dozed off in front of the TV.
