Early morning notes

Just some notes, whole house in an uproar today, everyone up at 6.30 a.m. and Graham off to work early. Not enough time to get anthing down properly as I was off to Cash and Carry for the Mercat.

1. Samoan rugby team were training in the field opposite on Friday morning and I did not get a photo, they were playing Edinburgh District at night. I thought it was the Fijian team made up with soldiers from the Glencorse Depot. Shame.

2. Who phoned at 1.05 a.m. this morning, I was in a nice deep sleep and phones went everywhere, Mrs. B. went mental. Turns out is was Pauline Black, who has three different Stuart's in her phone.

3. Spoke with Mr. Robert Malcolm last night who has eaten all his sardines and is fishing for trout for his dinner during the rest of the week.

4. Horror movies, "SAW lll" was selected by RGB last night, but I did not watch it , terrible sick people who make these, just as bad to buy and watch them!! Mrs B . was watching ( through her fingers).

5. Pile drivers in the city - certainly will need earplugs and disprin if you live in the Fountainbridge area, it is a wonder that the houses are not cracking up with the vibrations.

6. Disappearing socks - just where do they go, explode, disintegrate, or the fairies. It is a mystery where these socks go, you put in so many pairs but never ever get the same number back. It is like these appliance manufacturers who I suspect fit microchips into systems so that they fail after the warranty has run out, especially if you have not taken them up on their expensive extended warranties.

7. Archers were out in the playing field today, appeared to be a local competition, normally there are a lot more there, qite spectacular in fact. Have taken a photo and will try and include it shortly.

Bye
