Despite the fact it was raining, I was picked up my my friend mark and we went to the village of Temple, near Gorebridge where we were to meet others at the old churchyard there, home of the Knights Templars since 1153 when King David granted them the "manor and chapely of Balentradoch.
However when we got there , only three of our friends had arrived so we had a short visit of the churchyard and rather end up "too droochit" headed home, picking up somelovely fresh farm eggs form a roadside stall - complete with honesty box.
After lunch I attended a full meeting of Knights Templars, Preceptory of King David of Balentradoch, in Dalkeith, before heaing on to work - where all the fun occurred. Read on
